Iron & Wine: “Godless Brother in Love” video

There hasn’t been much movement or noise from the Iron-&-Wine side of the fence. But today, Samuel Beam’s folk-indie band released a video for “Godless Brother in Love,” the seventh track from 2011’s Kiss Each Other Clean.

The track talks about children playing with nothing but reckless abandon, and the video portrays something very similar. Young adults cavort and careen into each other while laughing and socializing. It begins in a rustic scene and continues to go back and forth between what looks like a house party and the great outdoors. The video is directed by Claire Marie Vogel who has also directed videos for Mutemath, Tegan & Sara and more. Hopefully, “Godless Brother in Love” reminds you to hold on to lifelong, life-changing friendships with a steady hand.
