Florence and the Machine announce new album, reveal new song

English singer-songwriter Florence Welch and her band–collectively known as Florence and the Machine–announced that their second album will be released sometime this Fall.
Florence and the Machine’s last release, Lungs, came out nearly two years ago for which they were nominated for best new artist in 2010 Grammy Awards. According to their website, the yet-to-be-titled album will be dropped Nov. 7, 2011, and they will be working with producer Paul Epworth and releasing it through Universal Republic Records.
Below you can watch the video for the first song revealed off the untitled album, “What the Water Gave Me.” It has that same wistful, anthem-filled feeling as Lungs. You can see how enthused Welch is as she seems to direct the angelic choir singing behind her. Enjoy, and look out for the new album Nov. 7!
