Among the big news floating around today was a real gem. Post Hardcore/Indie Rock/Punk outfit At The Drive In are supposedly reuniting this year according to their twitter account.
The band disbanded in 2001 after the release of the now classic Relationship of Command. They later went on to form Sparta and The Mars Volta- both of which have amassed adoring fans and critical acclaim in the years since ATD. However neither band has created the underground success, raw emotion, edginess, and sense of nostalgia that was created from an album like Relationship of Command.
