Tags: At the drive in reunion, California, Coachella, Coachella official 2012 lineup, Indio, music and arts festival, refused reunionEarly yesterday, Coachella, the three-day long music and arts festival in California, tweeted a special preview of the official 2012 lineup poster for their follower’s pleasure. The Black Keys, Radiohead, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg will be the headliners over the course of the festival, which will take place April 13-15 and April 20-22.
Some surprises came in the form of reunions: Texas’s old hardcore act At the Drive-In who split in 2001, the Swedish hardcore punk band Refused who broke off in 1998, post-rockers Godspeed You! Black Emporer who haven’t played since 2003, and Mike Watt’s art-punk band fIREHOSE which disbanded in 1994.
Other notable performances: M83, Bon Iver, Explosions in the Sky, SBTRKT, araabMUZIK, Justice, The Weeknd, Jeff Mangum, Feist, Florence + the Machine, Andrew Bird, Beirut, La Roux, EMA, Frank Ocean, Kendrick Lamar, Thundercat, Yuck, Neon Indian, WU LYF, Manchester Orchestra, tUnE-yArDs, Wild Flag, Modeselektor, Cat Power, Mazzy Star, Gotye, and more.
