Jack White announces solo album and releases single

Feb. 2, 2011 The White Stripes announced that they were disbanding and no longer making music as a full band again, much to the music world’s dismay. But that didn’t mean the end of Jack White. White (who is also a member of The Raconteurs and Dead Weather) is releasing a solo album through his own Third Man Records. It’s called Blunderbuss, and will officially be available April 23.
Until then, he’s let us in on the album’s first single, called “Love Interruption.” You can listen to the powerful acoustic track below.
