LCD Soundsystem Documentary: “Shut Up and Play the Hits” Trailer

Last April, James Murphy and friends of electronic-rock group LCD Soundsystem played their last show at Madison Square Garden. Directors Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace made a documentary called Shut Up and Play the Hits about the days leading up to the final performance, which shares some of Murphy’s intimate thoughts on what it was like to end the band. And according to Entertainment Weekly, the trailer for the documentary was just released.
Shut Up and Play the Hits premieres at Sundance Film Festival 2012 on Sunday, Jan. 22. View the trailer below, featuring the song “All My Friends.”
