Bon Iver performance and Lana Del Rey parody on “Saturday Night Live”

This was a big weekend for musicians on television. After St. Vincent and Modest Mouse frontman Isaac Brock’s cameos on the IFC show Portlandia, Bon Iver performed as the music guest on Saturday Night Live‘s Feb. 4 episode.

The 2012 Grammy-nominated band played “Holocene” (which happens to be nominated for Best Song) and “Beth/Rest,” the epic Michael Bolton-esque 80′s ballad. Also, Kristen Wiig played a parody of Lana Del Rey apologizing for her much-hated previous SNL performance.

You can watch all of those videos below, and check out Justin Vernon’s fist bump at the end of “Beth/Rest” (and Colin Stetson’s homage to Liturgy via T-Shirt).
