After Toronto hardcore band Fucked Up made an indent in the music industry last year, they apparently have no intentions of letting up. Through Matador records, Fucked Up have been endeavoring to release a song for every year of the Chinese calendar and they just released their fifth single in that series, “Year of the Tiger.” (Sufjan Stevens and the 50 States ringing a bell, anybody? . . . anybody?) You can stream the new single below all all other previous singles from the series. The song is an epic 15 minutes long, so practically an entire EP if you think about it. All proceeds for the song go to the Panthera organization and their “Save the Tiger” fund. So fork up the cash and help save those big kitty cats. And make sure you listen to this song . . . it’s for the cats.
