Wet Nurse, Orlando’s fun female garage punk group, announced that they will soon be releasing an album, titled Daily Whatever, at a still undeclared date. The album will make a limited run on vinyl (300 on black vinyl; 100 on white) via Italy’s Astro Girl and a limited run on cassette tape from Protagonist Music. They say each version will come with their own unique cover art and bonus track. You can see (what may be) the album art above, as well as listen to the new track “Peace Treaty.”
The band has also started an Indiegogo campaign called Wet Nurse! Daily Whatever! Tour! where they are attempting to raise $1,000 in order to take a 26-city tour to promote the new album.
In typical Indiegogo fashion, there are special “perks” for how much you contribute to their campaign, including the cassette version or the vinyl version of Daily Whatever, free entry to their CD release party in Orlando on Friday August 24, T-Shirts, postcards or souvenirs from the road and more. You could potentially purchase their music like you normally would while simultaneously helping fund their tour.
Below you can see the tracklisting for Daily Whatever, as well as intended cities they’ll be going through for their tour. There doesn’t seem to be official dates yet, but these will be the cities. See if your city is near any of them.
