Hundred Waters sign to Skrillex’s OWSLA label, to release EP

Hundred Waters, one of our Florida favorites this year whose self-titled debut appeared on our Best Albums of 2012 . . . So Far list, has recently signed up with Skrillex’s OWSLA label.

It’s an interesting move for Skrillex to make, as it’s the only indie-pop act to make an appearance with them, although the electronic aspect of the group seems to converge with the label’s outlook. After Skrillex shared a link on his Facebook page to off the Avenue’s recording of “Boreal”, he seems to have some sort of affinity for the lucid Gainesville-based group.

Hundred Waters is officially set to release the Thistle EP on August 21, which will include remixes of Araabmuzik, Star Slinger, TOKiMONSTA, Lockah, and Different Sleep & Troublemaker.
