Andrew Bird - Hands of Glory album cover

Dropped by Robert Miller

Andrew Bird already had a fresh album released earlier this year (Break It Yourself), but he’s already preparing for a new release. It’s called Hands of Glory and you can check out the album art at the top.

Hands of Glory will be released via Mom + Pop Oct. 30, and it is advertised as “A Musical Companion To Break It Yourself.” Apparently, it won’t be a new “studio album,” but rather, it will be a series of reworked, re-invisioned takes from Break It Yourself, as well as a couple of covers and a couple brand new tracks.

Bird has given us a taste of Hands of Glory with a short minute-long trailer and a brand new track called “Three White Horses.” You can listen to the new track and watch the trailer below, as well as check out some of the remaining tour dates for Bird, including some Florida performances—which, for Bird at least, is nearly unheard of!
